Just completed 10 days in Ajo AZ… HOT, HOT, HOT…  Did I say hot…  it ran about 112 to 116 every day with night time temps around 85-90.  Ajo is about 30 miles from the Mexico boarder down by Yuma. Not a place where a lot of folks would want to be in June but I will say there is some great desert views to be had and well worth it.  I grew up  in North East Texas and but after living in the desert for the past 20 years I have really turned into a desert rat.  There are  just some wonderful things the desert has to share.  The views are just unreal, the wild life is outstanding and if you can deal with the heat like I can… It can offer a lot to see.  I know when many folks travel down the desert highways they seem to think there is nothing to see in the vast waste lands but man-o-man are they wrong.  Anytime you might have the chance to pay this part of the West a visit… Please let me know and I can show you some great places to visit.  Later…Clint

Some of our Friends out in the West

June 13, 2008

Well it’s about that time to have another Adventure and it aways seems we run into some very cool things out in the desert.  I will take more pictures and upload them here for you to see.

I have tons of parts that I need to get installed on the TJ “Skipper”… Sorry my wife named him as a joke and it just kind of stuck…  I will find the time and get it all done soon but until then this will have to do for today.  Later…Clint

Just starting the new TJ build

Man where do I even start… I am just so luckly to have a job that involves Jeeping, GPS, and off-roading about 20 days a month.  I worked a very stressful job for 17 years and it was a great job but just killing me.  When I told my parents I was going to quit… Oh man they thought I had lost my mind.  My wife was was all for it .  Man it’s great to have such an outstanding and supportive wife. But things have really turned out for the best and I just can not believe what the last 2 years of my life have been like.

I would like to share some of the great adventures that I am able to take part in and  I will try to keep it up to date so that friends and family can keep track of some of the outstanding places I am able to visit.  I also have a web site with a lot of my Jeeping info on it at http://www.lostzj.com  but this blog should be a great way to share some of my adventures.  I will not be able to do it every day but will be sure to update when I am back home.  Hope you guys like it and please feel free to contact me with questions and comments.

I am just starting this Blog,  the build up of my new TJ, and tons of Adventures to tackle… so stick with me for a bit to allow time to get this dialed in for you to enjoy.

Later…Clint
