WOW…I can’t even begin to post all the pictures from that trip. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is just unreal. We only saw 3 people while we were there… No guard rails… No traffic…No tour buses…No paved roads. We started at the Toroweap Overlook and ran most of the Grand Canyon to the east. It was a very long trip and you must have a good off road rig to make a trip like this. I am talking about hundreds of miles of off pavement routes and trails with no gas stops or Star Bucks within 200 miles. But if you are into getting away from the real word and seeing just a ton of outstanding views this is the place to go for sure. Just be sure you plan the trip with fuel, water, supplies because you will not find it out in this area. Very remote but WELL WORTH the trip. There is a great small campground right before the Toroweap Overlook and it also has great views to wake up to as well. I am going to burn a disk for friends and family to get to see some of the hundreds of pictures I took while there. Hope some of you might make it to this site. I am already planning another trip there to take a few friends so drop me an email you have have an interest. It will have to be after the snow this winter but a great trip to make in the spring. We also took the time to drop into Bryce Canyon and the Zion National Park as well. Man I think I need about 3 days of sleep to catch up on some rest. But would I do it again?… Oh heck yea. Later…Clint

You should be able to click on the pictures to get a full size view. Let me know if you have problems and I will help out with this.

Not a place where a lot of folks would want to be in June but I will say there is some great desert views to be had and well worth it. I grew up in North East Texas and but after living in the desert for the past 20 years I have really turned into a desert rat. There are just some wonderful things the desert has to share. The views are just unreal, the wild life is outstanding and if you can deal with the heat like I can… It can offer a lot to see. I know when many folks travel down the desert highways they seem to think there is nothing to see in the vast waste lands but man-o-man are they wrong. Anytime you might have the chance to pay this part of the West a visit… Please let me know and I can show you some great places to visit. Later…Clint

Man where do I even start… I am just so luckly to have a job that involves Jeeping, GPS, and off-roading about 20 days a month. I worked a very stressful job for 17 years and it was a great job but just killing me. When I told my parents I was going to quit… Oh man they thought I had lost my mind. My wife was was all for it . Man it’s great to have such an outstanding and supportive wife. But things have really turned out for the best and I just can not believe what the last 2 years of my life have been like.

I would like to share some of the great adventures that I am able to take part in and I will try to keep it up to date so that friends and family can keep track of some of the outstanding places I am able to visit. I also have a web site with a lot of my Jeeping info on it at http://www.lostzj.com but this blog should be a great way to share some of my adventures. I will not be able to do it every day but will be sure to update when I am back home. Hope you guys like it and please feel free to contact me with questions and comments.

I am just starting this Blog, the build up of my new TJ, and tons of Adventures to tackle… so stick with me for a bit to allow time to get this dialed in for you to enjoy.

Later…Clint
